Throughout the world cross culturally there has always been a connection between breath and spirit. Many religions believing that the power of the divine spark within mankind is contained within the breath of our exhale and that the divine power of source can be found in the very air that we breathe.

Many spiritual systems from yoga to tai chi and qigong focus on the importance of breathing techniques and rhythms so that this divine power might be accessed correctly and channelled through the meridian system of the body to the energy centres and subtle bodies.
