Many of us on the spiritual path have had lifetimes in which we have either been witches or at the very least persecuted for being one! Such lives - often steeped in banishment, torture and death obscure the power of the witch that lingers inside. Our deep rooted connection to nature, our power to heal and see into the future, our capacity to commune with the world of spirits and elementals and our ability to shape the world around us to our will.
This workshop explores the nature of the witch - rather than the revisionist religion of Wicca. It dives deep into what a witch truly is, their powers and way and how we might at the very least reclaim some of this for ourselves now, so that it might serve us in our contemporary spiritual work.
This workshop is then for men and women alike - it is for anyone who once gazed up at the Moon in awe and felt its power course through their veins or those whose spirit is elevated and thrilled by storms and winds and rain. It is for those who find their sanctuary in nature, in the garden and those who feel connected and aligned to synchronicities and omens, dreams and magic!
Edwin Courtenay is a solitary eclectic non traditional Witch and Cunning Man who has been practising his craft for 35 years, in this wonderful workshop he will guide and lead those lost and traumatised back to themselves and their hidden power. Through spells, rituals and exercises simple and yet potent he will teach all how to marshal their inherent power and rise like the phoenix from the ashes of their former destruction - awakening - the witch!
